Immunizations or vaccines are an important part of keeping our children happy and healthy. We support their use because they help prevent diseases that cause serious injury or death. Vaccines work by helping your own immune system build immunity or resistance against the disease. This process is very important in staying healthy. For more information, please visit the CDC WEBSITE: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/parents/index.html
Our office fully endorses the CDC’s vaccine schedule seen below, and strongly believes all children should be vaccinated against these childhood diseases. Therefore, our office does not provide exemptions if you choose to delay or not vaccinate your child. All exemptions, whether personal or religious in nature, MUST be provided by the Health Department. We welcome open and honest conversations regarding any concerns or questions you may have.
